ithink the levels were fine, it gave the players a long genuine reason to grind / mine on the game. Maybe increase the rewards though for the levels that include mining 25 - 50m blocks etc...

I agree with this, the lag when the event happens makes it worthless, however i think there should be a reasonable amount of time between them for people to get ready for each event.
