Leaderboarders are really overrated, most of them today just grind 4v4s 700 hours per day, aka the easiest gamemode to grind but there are still a good few leaderboarders or not-so well known who are skilled.

thing is, optifine just boosts fps. and it isn't against the rules on any popular server. hacked clients are made to give you unfair advantages and they are obviously against the rules on most servers.
Optifine is a mod designed to add more features to the video settings of the game and improve your FPS. It is not against the rules to have more FPS using optifine and it is accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
