Factions improvements​

Suggestion Details:
The first issue is the damage scaling. Currently, players take significantly more damage than in previous seasons, making fights feel inconsistent. To improve the combat and reward skill, I suggest adjusting the damage cap and reintroducing Shield 3. I also suggest bringing back the Block enchant with a balanced nerf to the proc rate. Aegis and Demigod are currently too weak to be viable a reworked Block enchant would give players a reason to build defensive sets again. Spiked should have a slightly higher proc rate, and Demigod/Aegis should be tweaked to proc specifically at low HP (around 3 hearts) to allow for better survivability.​
New enchants would be nice since there is nothing to put in shield 3 place. Lava Walker could provide immunity to Stronghold lava to encourage players to make sets for strongholds. Antidote would act as an eternal enchant with a passive chance to clear negative effects like Slowness, Blindness, Wither, poision. Additionally, adding a specific armor set that receives a damage buff only while on Stronghold or KOTH would be nice.​
The Darkzone should return to give solo and F2P players a consistent way to grind high-tier items. Bosses should have a faster 15-minute respawn timer to keep warzone activity high throughout the day. I also suggest bringing back Gen Printing to make building walls less tedious.​
Regarding the economy, the gold tax on /ah should be reworked. Currently, F2P players have no way of getting gold unless they go to other gamemodes like Gens where there is no tax. I suggest making the first 1-3 listings per day tax-free, or only taxing items sold over a certain gold threshold. For visual clarity, custom textures should be added for Chug Jugs and Minis (Example:
) so they are distinguishable in PvP. These should also be obtainable through a Black Market NPC that sells G-Kit or crate items for very high amounts of EXP or Money, resetting every 12 hours.​
To fix the issue with base claimed traps, factions should be restricted from setting base claims within a specific distance of the warzone border. This ensures traps can be countered or raided with creeper eggs and cannoned rather than being totally protected. Finally, Nether Portals should be removed because they are used for traps that legit players cannot escape whereas cheaters can just fully ignore the portal and still do everything as normal.​
Proposed Quality of Life Features​
Withdraw Limit: A daily cap on money and EXP withdrawals per member in /f perms to prevent players taking too much.​
Pearl Stacks: Increase pearl stacks to 64 to reduce the need for constant refilling during warzone fights.​
Combat Timer: Re-add the visual timer for combat tagging so players know exactly when they are safe.​

-1 to the entire first paragraph people got damage buffed because it being too low was too unskilled i’ll read the rest, shield 3 broken enchantment, block 3 was bugged you haven’t played the game long enough to understand how these work yet.
 
the rest is cool and all but that entire first paragraph will just kill pvp, again in council it was already said people will cry that damage is too high now simply just get used to it, it’s still factions you cant just rely on every enchant in the game to save you, learn to pot improve your pvp mechanics dont just ask for everything to be nerfed again it makes the server unbalanced.

i played when block enchant was in the game. yes it was buggy and you couldnt die but thats why i said bring it back with a nerf. a balanced version of block would make defensive enchants like demigod and aegis actually useful because right now they are dead enchants.

also right now the sets are broken. joker barely takes any damage but great white takes a lot even though the percentages are better. adding back shield 3 would help fix this issue and make fights more consistent. right now the fights just feel inconsistent you could be taking almost zero damage and then just get killed in 2 hits.
ofcourse this is just my opinion on the gamemode.

ofcourse this is just my opinion on the gamemode.
because sets are broken doesn’t mean a broken enchant should be added back, same with block 3 it just means the sets should be looked at, you shouldn’t be bad at the game and hope to rely on block and shield to always save you no, hence why they were removed if sets are broken make a bug report instead of asking for broken enchants to be added back.
