So normal is like iron and gold armour etc. and swords in iron or gold.
Lunatic will be chosen when the votes from extreme and normal the same are. It has better loot aka is medium.
Extreme is full/almost full dia armour with an dia act or sword.

Normal mode features gold, iron, and maybe diamond gear from the starting chests, while Extreme mode guarantees protection 2 diamond armor and a sharpness 2 sword from the starting chests on your island. With the weaker gear however, normal mode includes the chance for you to find a knockback 1 golden sword from the starting chest. This knockback sword can make Normal mode desirable because if you find it you can easily knock other players off. Normal mode games also progress much faster than Extreme mode games because of the weaker gear. Overall, if you prefer short fights where a small combo will kill your opponent in most situations, then Normal mode is the way to go. As for Extreme mode, the items found in the starting chest are much more powerful, meaning it is much more difficult to kill players. You also don’t have a chance to get a knockback weapon from the starting chests on your island, meaning fights are often longer and less players are just hit off into the void. Extreme mode is therefore more fair than Normal mode since every player gets protection 2 diamond armor all the time. Consequently, the difference between you winning and losing in Extreme mode is often your skill level in a 1v1 fight as opposed to your luck. Now all this aside, there is one more thing to be said, which is the reason I always vote for Extreme mode: the rank kits. Players with Diamond rank receive a sharpness 3 diamond axe, and full protection 3 iron armor at the start of every game when using the Diamond Kit. This gear is much better than what you will receive from you starting chest in normal mode, and as.a result, you will most likely lose a normal mode game against a player using the Diamond kit.

Think of normal mode as a more vanilla type of gameplay than the rest, with loot and items you would typically have and be able to obtain in a survival world while the rest 2 contain more buffed armor and weapons as well as some more items too (such as notch apples).

normal has bad loot but it shows your real skill, lunatic is somewhere in the middle with extreme and normal means it has good and bad loot, extreme is op so it's just for fun and bc of its op loot in doesnt show ur skill so much
