Jartex-Survival is a 1.20 map where you need to gather resources to survive the night, while keeping an eye on your health and hunger.

When you first join Survival you will be summoned at spawn. The first thing you would want to do is explore the spawn, here you will find multiple different NPCs, End Portal and PvP-Zone. Once you have familiarised yourself with spawn, you can get ready to start your journey. Start by typing /kit to redeem some items which will be useful for you to get started with, you will obtain items such-as; Stone Tools, Food and Blocks.

Now that you should have some items to start with, you are ready to enter the wildness. Start by going back to /spawn, walk backwards and you will see a portal, walk into it and a GUI should pop up which will give you the option to pick from 2 different survival realms. The 2 realms are; Survival World or Resource World.

What are the difference between the 2 realms?

Survival World is your regular 1.20 survival map, which will last a life-time unless the server resets. Where-as the Resource World is the same, but with the difference of, it will reset every 7 days. So it's not ideal to invest any time building anything within this realm.

Now that you have spawned in a random location, you can take 3 different paths on how you want to play, which are;

1. Play regular survival by breaking down trees, stocking up on food and trying to find your diamonds.
2. Claim some land which you can build something amazing.
3. Complete quests which will give you some very useful items.

That's all the basics of how to get started with normal Survival at Jartex. Below will be the more complex things added via plugins.

As I mentioned breathy above, one of the options on how to play is by completing quests, by doing so, you will earn items, money and rubies.
In-total there are 150 quests for you to complete, although that might seem all good and easy, these quests get harder the higher you level up.

To get started with your quests, first start by typing /level - a GUI will pop up and you will be able to find out what your first mission will be.
Once you have completed the objective(s), you will need to type /level again and click onto the level you were working on, it will then broadcast in chat that you have completed the mission and you will unlock the next level.

Level Skips: Is there a challenge to hard for you to complete? Is the challenge taking to long? Then you may want to consider redeeming a Level Skip Voucher. These vouchers will skip a challenge withing one of your levels. For example;
Level 1 - Break x16 Oak Log, Break x16 Spruce Log, Kill 8 Cows, Kill 8 Sheep.
If you were struggling to find 8 cows, you could redeem a level skip and it will complete the challenge of 'Kill 8 cows'.

Notice; DO NOT redeem level skips while they are stacked. make sure to separate them in your inventory before redeeming. Once redeem DO NOT close out of the menu, even if you regret using it, at this point it is to late, if you were to close out of the menu, you will lose the voucher regardless. So skip whichever challenge you dislike the most.

Premium Level Pass; Not liking your rewards you're getting? Wanting more rewards for completing your level? You then may want to consider claiming a premium pass. This pass grants you extra rewards whilst completing challenges. For example;

If you do not like this reward and want something better, you could gain extra rewards from premium pass which would give you

Notice; If you redeem the premium pass at level 100 for example, then do not worry. You can type /level and go back to previous levels and click each premium reward that the previous levels offered. After completing level 101 and so on, you will automatically claim the premium rewards as well as the normal rewards.

Claims are a way to protect your builds and store items from people griefing or stealing from you. You gain claim blocks from completing quests, opening crates or redeeming your ranked once kit.

To claim a part of land, you will need to have the ClaimShovel. Which you can get from using your daily starter kit, once you have the shovel and found a place you want to claim, you will need to right click a block in 2 corners to claim it. If it's below 100 blocks, you won't be able to claim.

Within your claimed land you have full control over what you want to do within your claim radius, however, you can also add friends or clan members to your claims by trusting them. When trusting players, they will have the same abilities as you within that claimed land, which can be good or even bad. So while trusting, make sure you 100% trust the player wont grief you. Although they could get banned, your land // projects will be ruined.

Clans in survival don't have a major impact on progression, however, to create a clan you will need to type /c create [name]. Once your clan has been created, you will be able to invite your friends to join!

When you have created your gang type /c - Which a GUI will pop up. Here you will be able to do multiple different things, such as;

1. Store your money and experience into the clan, which you will need to be able to level up your clan. When you level up your clan you will eventually unlock colour tags; Level 10 unlocks white. Level 15 Unlocks blue. Level 20 Unlocks red. Level 25 Unlocks purple.
2. Clan Level; This is where you will need to use money and experience that has been stored into your clan to increase your level.
3. Clan Vaults; This is where you and your friends will be able to share and store items together! You will need to increase your clan level to unlock more slots in your vault.
4. Clan members; The Admins and Owner of the clan will be able to view, edit and kick players from the clan.
5. Clan Missions & Perks; This is where you can view your daily clan quests. There is another icon where you can purchase some permanent clan effects.

There is a lot of commands to remember when owning a clan, the spoiler below will show all the commands, and what they exactly do.

Clan Missions

There are a total of 5 different quests, which all have 3 different tiers. You will be given them at random every day.

Mob Slayer

This mission you must kill the required amount of mobs.
Tier I = x1000 / Tier II = / Tier III =

Traveler

This mission you must walk / fly the required distance.
Tier I = / Tier II = x7500 / Tier III = x10,000

Builder

This mission you must place the required amount of blocks.
Tier I = / Tier II = / Tier III = x5000

Fisher

This mission you must catch the required amount of fish.
Tier I = / Tier II = x40 / Tier III = x60

Miner

This mission you must mine the required amount of blocks.
Tier I = / Tier II = / Tier III = x10,000

When you complete these missions, you will earn Clan Rubies. You can spend these on perks, which the current ones being;

Speed Boost; Speed I = 20 Rubies / Speed II = 60 Rubies.
Jump Boost; Jump I = 20 Rubies / Jump II = 60 Rubies.

Note: These effects will only work in the world that your clan is located in, meaning if your clan is in Diamond, you wouldn't earn the speed boost effect in Gold.

Making money is not the easiest thing to do in survival, so don't read the title ' How to make money ' thinking you'll become a millionaire within a day. There are multiple different ways you can earn some money which I will list down below;

Quests; As you most likely have seen above, most of the quests give you cash once you have completed a quest. Although it may not seem alot, the higher you level up, the more cash you will gain.

Black Market; The black market is probably one of the best ways any new, and concurrent players can earn money. He will require many different items and in-return will give you small amounts of cash. His trades will get refreshed every 24 hours, so always be prepared for a challenge to obtain as much items as possible for his trades.
You can find the Market by typing /warp blackmarket at spawn.

Crate Keys; Crate keys are another way to gain money. Although it's not the most stable way to earn as, apart from voting key, you need to purchase the other keys on the store. As these are crate keys, take it as gambling - there are many different items in a crate, so you will not always earn money from them, however you will get another item which might also be useful to you.

There are 4 different crates within survival, all which offer more money the higher the crate you use;

Vote Key - Between $1500 upto $3250.
Rare Key - Between $3100 upto $9500.
Ultra Key - Between $6100 upto $17,000.
God Key - Between $14,000 upto $70,000.
Captain Key - $160,000 with items also having $150,000 within them.

Player Shops; Player shops is a system where you can place items into a chest on your claimed land, and players will be able to teleport to the chest to purchase things from it. I will go into more detail with a whole section about player shops down below.

Auction House; Similar to player shops, however with the difference of, you don't need any chest or players teleporting to your land. You will be able to auction your items straight away, where then people will be able to to purchase it.

To auction items onto the Auction House is very simple. All you need to do;

1. Hold the item​
2. Type; /ah sell [price]​
3. Wait until someone purchases your item.​

Playtime Rewards; You can earn rewards by simply being online, and these rewards earn you a decent amount of cash. They also give you alot of keys which you can open for cash, also other items which you could sell on the Auction House.

You can view your claimable rewards by typing /playtimerewards.

Note: Sometimes your items will not be purchased by anyone, and will no longer be listed up, but don't worry - your items are not lost. To retrieve your items back, you will need to go into your expired bin by type /ah expired - You must collect your items within 10 days of it expiring, otherwise they will be lost forever.

You might be wondering what are rubies, I am earning them from quests and crates but I don't know what to spend them on? Rubies are a different currency from cash. You can't trade it or withdraw.

Why is Rubies even useful or worth doing quests to get some of this currency you might be wondering? Well the reason for this is because you can spend it on some very useful items at the Wizard Shop.

Wizard Shop; The Wizard Shop offers you items for Rubies every weekend His trades go from Shulkers, to Beacons and even Totem of Undying, and many more items. So make sure to check his trades every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as he only has very limited amount of stock!

Zookeeper Shop; The Zookeeper will offer a random selection of pets once a week, however like the wizard shop, it is first come first serve. So if you miss his trades, you will have to try again the following weekend.

As I mentioned within the section above, player shops are a great way to make money, as you chose how much you want to sell your items for. Creating a play-shop is very easy and I'll go over step by step;

1. You'll first need to find a location (preferably within your claim) to place a chest. Then you will need to place a sign on that chest and type [shop] on the first line. You will know if you have done it correctly, as it will say in chat -> [!] You created a new player shop.​

2. Now that you have a shop up, you will need to select an item you wish to sell. For this example I will use a diamond. Click onto the sign -> Click onto the first option -> and finally click an item that is in your inventory. You follow the same steps if you wish to remove and change the item(s) you are trying to sell.​

3. Now that you have set your shop up with an item of your choice, you are now going to decide what you want to buy or sell it for. To-do this, click onto your shop sign -> click onto shop prices -> if you are trying to sell items to players, you need to left click -> if you want to buy items from players, you need to right click -> in chat it will say [!] Type your new price in chat to set the price! Type stop to cancel the price change. -> when you see that message in chat, you need to type your price, for example '100', which will make your sell/buy price $100.​

4. You should now have a fully functioning shop, but you might be wondering now, how will I get players to purchase things from it without telling them to teleport to me? Well that's where Advertisement Gems come into play. When you click the sign, the click last sign which says advertisement gem -> then click the gem that you have in your inventory and you should be all good. Your chest shop will now show in /shop for other players to warp to your chest. Beware, your shop will only show for as long as your gem is active - so always use your highest length gems.​

Where to get Advertisement Gems;​

1. Daily Deliveries NPC. (You can find him when you type /spawn, he'll be just behind you.)
2. Crate Keys.
3. Wizard Shop.
4. Purchase them from other players.

Tip: Always check your chests regularly, making sure you have enough space // or enough items in stock. Also, check /shop regularly as well, to see the prices of what other players are selling for, as it's always good to out-play them by setting your price slightly lower to get as much sales as possible.

As I get asked multiple times a-day about voting, I have decided to add this to the guide.
I will start with regular voting;

1. Make sure you are logged into Survival on JartexNetwork.
2. Type /spawn and afk there.
3. Click on this link.
4. Click on the 7 links to earn a vote key for each.

Note: Some of the links you need to own a premium account.

Now that you know how to vote properly and earn your keys, I am going to explain how to earn Rare Keys now by vote parties.
The vote party happens every time the server reaches a total of 500 votes. Once the number has been reached, it will reset to 0 - and a message will pop up in chat.

When you see this message in chat, you need to do the following

1. /spawn
2. Press 'T' to open your chat
3. Hover over and click where it says 'Click Here'.

Note: You have less than 1 minute to redeem the vote party before it expires. You also must make sure you do not have a full inventory, otherwise you will not gain a Rare Key. Here you will find a Clip of the vote party so you will have a better understanding of how to follow the steps above.

In-order to enter the End Dimension - you will first need to quest up to level 50. Once you have achieved this, you will gain access to the portal.

When you enter the portal - you are able to respawn the Ender-Dragon if you wish to defeat him. You will also be able to try and find some End-Cities were you will be able to loot Elytra's, Dragon Heads and some very useful gear an tools. You will need to make sure you try and enter the portal as fast as you possibly can, otherwise finding un-looted End-Cities will be very hard.

The other useful thing about having access to the End-Portal, you will be able to make Endermen Grinders, which will give you a-lot of XP - more than you will ever need.

You can teleport to the portal by typing /warp end, or you can teleport directly inside the end by typing /warp endworld.

Jartex-Survival is a 1.17 map where you need to gather resources to survive the night, while keeping an eye on their health and hunger.

When you first join Survival you will be summoned at spawn. The first thing you would want to do is explore the spawn, here you will find multiple different NPCs, End Portal and PvP-Zone. Once you have familiarised yourself with spawn, you can get ready to start your journey. Start by typing /kit to redeem some items which will be useful for you to get started with, you will obtain items such-as; Stone Tools, Food and Blocks.

Now that you should have some items to start with, you are ready to enter the wildness. Start by going back to /spawn, walk forwards and you will see a NPC, click onto him and a GUI should pop up which will give you the option to pick from 5 different survival realms. The 5 realms are; Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald or Resource World.

What are the difference between the 5 realms?

Iron, Gold, Diamond and Emerald are your regular 1.17 survival maps, which will last a life-time unless the server resets. Where-as the Resource World is the same, but with the difference of, it will reset every Saturday at 8pm. So it's not ideal to invest any time building anything within this realm.

Now that you have spawned in a random location, you can take 3 different paths on how you want to play, which are;

1. Play regular survival by breaking down trees, stocking up on food and trying to find your diamonds.
2. Claim some land which you can build something amazing (or build a survival home to store your loot).
3. Complete quests which will give you some useful items.

That's all the basics of how to get started with normal Survival at Jartex. Below will be the more complex things added via plugins.

As I mentioned breathy above, one of the options on how to play is by completing quests, by doing so, you will earn items, money and rubies.
In-total there are 75 quests for you to complete, although that might seem all good and easy, these quests get harder the higher you level up.

To get started with your quests, first start by typing /level - a GUI will pop up and you will be able to find out what your first mission will be.
For example, level 2 you will need to break a total of 12 stone blocks, once you have completed the objective(s), you will need to type /level again and click onto the level 2 mission, which will broadcast in chat that you have completed the mission and you will unlock the level 3 mission.

You might be wondering what are rubies, I am earning them from quests but I don't know what to spend them on? Rubies are a different currency from cash. You can't trade it or withdraw.

Why is Rubies even useful or worth doing quests to get some of this currency you might be wondering? Well the reason for this is because you can spend it on some very useful items at the Wizard Shop.

Wizard Shop; The Wizard Shop offers you items for Rubies every weekend His trades go from Shulkers, to Beacons and even Totem of Undying, and many more items. So make sure to check his trades every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as he only has very limited amount of stock!

Claims are a way to protect your builds and store items from people griefing or stealing from you. You gain claim blocks by simply playing and being online at survival. You can also gain bonus claim blocks by crate keys or purchasing a rank.

To claim a part of land, you will need to have the ClaimShovel. Which you can get from using your daily starter kit, once you have the shovel and found a place you want to claim, you will need to right click a block in 2 corners to claim it. If it's below 100 blocks, you won't be able to claim.

Within your claimed land you have full control over what you want to do within your claim radius, however, you can also add friends or clan members to your claims by trusting them. When trusting players, they will have the same abilities as you within that claimed land, which can be good or even bad. So while trusting, make sure you 100% trust the player wont grief you. Although they could get banned, your land // projects will be ruined.

Clans in survival don't have a major impact on progression, however, to create a clan you will need to type /c create [name]. Once your clan has been created, you will be able to invite your friends to join!

When you have created your gang type /c - Which a GUI will pop up. Here you will be able to do multiple different things, such as;

1. Store your money and experience into the clan, which you will need to be able to level up your clan. When you level up your clan you will eventually unlock colour tags; Level 10 unlocks white. Level 15 Unlocks blue. Level 20 Unlocks red. Level 25 Unlocks purple.
2. Clan Level; This is where you will need to use money and experience that has been stored into your clan to increase your level.
3. Clan Vaults; This is where you and your friends will be able to share and store items together! You will need to increase your clan level to unlock more slots in your vault.
4. Clan members; The Admins and Owner of the clan will be able to view, edit and kick players from the clan.
5. Clan Missions & Perks; This is where you can view your daily clan quests. There is another icon where you can purchase some permanent clan effects.

There is a lot of commands to remember when owning a clan, the spoiler below will show all the commands, and what they exactly do.

Clan Missions

There are a total of 5 different quests, which all have 3 different tiers. You will be given them at random every day.

Mob Slayer

This mission you must kill the required amount of mobs.
Tier I = x1000 / Tier II = / Tier III =

Traveler

This mission you must walk / fly the required distance.
Tier I = / Tier II = x7500 / Tier III = x10,000

Builder

This mission you must place the required amount of blocks.
Tier I = / Tier II = / Tier III = x5000

Fisher

This mission you must catch the required amount of fish.
Tier I = / Tier II = x40 / Tier III = x60

Miner

This mission you must mine the required amount of blocks.
Tier I = / Tier II = / Tier III = x10,000

When you complete these missions, you will earn Clan Rubies. You can spend these on perks, which the current ones being;

Speed Boost; Speed I = 20 Rubies / Speed II = 60 Rubies.
Jump Boost; Jump I = 20 Rubies / Jump II = 60 Rubies.

Note: These effects will only work in the world that your clan is located in, meaning if your clan is in Diamond, you wouldn't earn the speed boost effect in Gold.

Level 1 - 15 Member slots, 1 Clan Warps, 1 Row for your Clan Vault.
Clan tag will show default colour.
Level 5 - 5000 Claim blocks to Clan Leader, 18 Member slots, 3 Clan Warps, 3 Rows for your Clan Vault.

Making money is not the easiest thing to do in survival, so don't read the title ' How to make money ' thinking you'll become a millionaire within a day. There are multiple different ways you can earn some money which I will list down below;

Quests; As you most likely have seen above, most of the quests give you cash once you have completed a quest. Although it may not seem alot, the higher you level up, the more cash you will gain.

Black Market; The black market is probably one of the best ways any new, and concurrent players can earn money. He will require many different items and in-return will give you small amounts of cash. His trades will get refreshed every 24 hours, so always be prepared for a challenge to obtain as much items as possible for his trades.
You can find the Market by typing /warp blackmarket at spawn.

Crate Keys; Crate keys are another way to gain money. Although it's not the most stable way to earn as, apart from voting key, you need to purchase the other keys on the store. As these are crate keys, take it as gambling - there are many different items in a crate, so you will not always earn money from them, however you will get another item which might also be useful to you.

There are 4 different crates within survival, all which offer more money the higher the crate you use;

Vote Key - Between $250 upto $1500.
Rare Key - Between $500 upto $5000.
Ultra Key - Between $2500 upto $15,000.
God Key - Between $10,000 upto $50,000.
Medieval Key - Between $50,000 upto $100,000.

Player Shops; Player shops is a system where you can place items into a chest on your claimed land, and players will be able to teleport to the chest to purchase things from it. I will go into more detail with a whole section about player shops down below.

Auction House; Similar to player shops, however with the difference of, you don't need any chest or players teleporting to your land. You will be able to auction your items straight away, where then people will be able to to purchase it.

To auction items onto the Auction House is very simple. All you need to do;

1. Hold the item​
2. Type; /ah sell [price]​
3. Wait until someone purchases your item.​

Note: Sometimes your items will not be purchased by anyone, and will no longer be listed up, but don't worry - your items are not lost. To retrieve your items back, you will need to go into your expired bin by type /ah expired - You must collect your items within 10 days of it expiring, otherwise they will be lost forever.

As I mentioned within the section above, player shops are a great way to make money, as you chose how much you want to sell your items for. Creating a play-shop is very easy and I'll go over step by step;

1. You'll first need to find a location (preferably within your claim) to place a chest. Then you will need to place a sign on that chest and type [shop] on the first line. You will know if you have done it correctly, as it will say in chat -> [!] You created a new player shop.​

2. Now that you have a shop up, you will need to select an item you wish to sell. For this example I will use a diamond. Click onto the sign -> Click onto the first option -> and finally click an item that is in your inventory. You follow the same steps if you wish to remove and change the item(s) you are trying to sell.​

3. Now that you have set your shop up with an item of your choice, you are now going to decide what you want to buy or sell it for. To-do this, click onto your shop sign -> click onto shop prices -> if you are trying to sell items to players, you need to left click -> if you want to buy items from players, you need to right click -> in chat it will say [!] Type your new price in chat to set the price! Type stop to cancel the price change. -> when you see that message in chat, you need to type your price, for example '100', which will make your sell/buy price $100.​

4. You should now have a fully functioning shop, but you might be wondering now, how will I get players to purchase things from it without telling them to teleport to me? Well that's where Advertisement Gems come into play. When you click the sign, the click last sign which says advertisement gem -> then click the gem that you have in your inventory and you should be all good. Your chest shop will now show in /shop for other players to warp to your chest. Beware, your shop will only show for as long as your gem is active - so always use your highest length gems.​

1. Daily Deliveries NPC. (You can find him when you type /spawn, he'll be just behind you.)
2. Crate Keys.
3. Wizard Shop.
4. Purchase them from other players.

Tip: Always check your chests regularly, making sure you have enough space // or enough items in stock. Also, check /shop regularly as well, to see the prices of what other players are selling for, as it's always good to out-play them by setting your price slightly lower to get as much sales as possible.

As I get asked multiple times a-day about voting, I have decided to add this to the guide.
I will start with regular voting;

1. Make sure you are logged into Survival on JartexNetwork.
2. Type /spawn and afk there.
3. Click on this link.
4. Click on the 7 links to earn a vote key for each.

Note: Some of the links you need to own a premium account.

Now that you know how to vote properly and earn your keys, I am going to explain how to earn Rare Keys now by vote parties.
The vote party happens every time the server reaches a total of 500 votes. Once the number has been reached, it will reset to 0 - and a message will pop up in chat.

When you see this message in chat, you need to do the following

1. /spawn
2. Press 'T' to open your chat
3. Hover over and click where it says 'Click Here'.

Note: You have less than 1 minute to redeem the vote party before it expires. You also must make sure you do not have a full inventory, otherwise you will not gain a Rare Key. Here you will find a Clip of the vote party so you will have a better understanding of how to follow the steps above.

In-order to enter the End Dimension - you will first need to quest up to level 25. Once you have achieved this, you will gain access to the portal.

Entering the End-Portal.​

When you enter the portal - you will sadly not be able to kill or even attempt to respawn the Ender-Dragon, however you will be able to try and find some End-Cities were you will be able to loot Elytra's, Dragon Heads and some very useful Gear // Tools. You will need to make sure you try and enter the portal as fast as you possibly can, otherwise finding un-looted End-Cities will be very hard.

The other useful thing about having access to the End-Portal, you will be able to make Endermen Grinders, which will give you a-lot of XP - more than you will ever need.
