Map Submissions


Hello everybody, welcome to the Map Submissions section! Here, you'll be able to submit your custom-built maps for a chance to have them featured on the server! Below, we've written a quick overview of map guidelines you must follow. thank you and good luck!
(NOTE: You are only able to submit maps for MiniGames!)


Global overview
  • You are not allowed to submit a map being used by another server. Doing so anyway will result in your map submission being denied.

  • By submitting your map to this subforum, you agree to not post any reference to it (preview, download link, graphical footage) or use it on anything unrelated to JartexNetwork.

  • Please make sure the graphical footage you provide is as clear as possible.

  • You are allowed to build maps both alone or with a build team.

  • The map you submit must be specific to one game mode.
General map rules
  • Your map must follow a specific theme.

  • There must be a path to every place on your map.

  • Please make sure the buildings on your map look good and are detailed.

  • Your map must not have any place where players can get stuck.

  • Do not add signs, item frames, command blocks, your own playerhead, etc. to your map.

  • Do not add EnderChests as decoration.

  • Do not build anything inappropriate on your map.

  • Make sure there is no flat world or vanilla terrain present on your map, it must be all void.

  • Make sure the inside of your map is not hollow.

  • Your map must be built in the Minecraft version 1.8.9.


Requirements for each game-mode

Skywars:
Solo & Doubles Mode:
  • There must be 12 small islands present on the map:
    These islands should contain ores and three chests. For the layout, feel free to experiment, although four clusters of three islands are preferred (e.g. Toad, Mansion, etc.).
  • There must be 1 large island in the center of the map:
    This island should contain chests and plenty of room for players to fight.
  • There should be a fair distance between all of the islands, and you are free to use any layout you like, just make sure the map is not too small.

    Please make sure to keep in mind our waiting boxes, we kindly request you to reserve a 5x5 area for them. Other than that, we would like to encourage you to let your creativity run free, we are excited to see what you come up with!​


Bedwars:
Solo, Doubles & Triples Mode:
  • There must be 8 "base" islands present on the map:
    These islands should all be exactly the same but flipped relative to the island next to them. There should be an area for the generator, an area for the shopkeepers, a normal and EnderChest, and a clear colour indication present.
  • There must be 4 islands with Diamond generators present on the map:
    These islands should contain one diamond block somewhere and should be of equal distance to any base.

  • There must be 1 large island with Emerald generators present in the center of the map:
    This island should contain four emerald blocks somewhere and should be of equal distance to any base.


    Quadruples Mode:
  • There must be 4 "base" islands present on the map:
    These islands should all be exactly the same. There should be an area for the generator, an area for the shopkeepers, a normal and EnderChest, and a clear colour indication present.​
  • There must be 4 islands with Diamond generators present on the map:
    These islands should contain one diamond block somewhere and should be of equal distance to any base.

  • There must be 1 large island with Emerald generators present in the center of the map:
    This island should contain four emerald blocks somewhere and should be of equal distance to any base.

  • For all modes, there should be a fair distance between all of the islands, and you are free to use any layout you like, just make sure the map is not too small. We would prefer a 48 first bridge to the middle on quadruples, and a 32 or 48 first rush on the other modes.

    Please make sure to keep in mind our waiting box, we kindly request you to reserve a large area for it above the middle of your map. Other than that, we would like to encourage you to let your creativity run free, we are excited to see what you come up with!


TheBridge:
  • There must be 2 large islands connected by a bridge present on the map.
    These islands should contain a place for players to mine coal and iron, a place for players to mine gold, a place for players to mine lapis lazuli, a place for players to mine melons, a place for players to mine wood, a place for the nexus, a place for an enchanting table, and lastly a place for the shop NPC.
  • There must be a central area present in the middle of the map.
    There must be some diamond ore in this part of the map.
